Back Pain Treatment - Is Spinal Fusion the Final Option For Back Pain Relief?
Spinal fusion is a surgically invasive treatment for particular back pain sufferers. In spinal fusion, two or more vertebrae are welded together to create a single segment that restricts movement for that area of the spine. Depending upon the individual, the restriction of movement in that spinal area can reduce or eliminate the existing back pain. For some individuals, this is the final medical option for relieving back pain. For others, a non-invasive procedure like DRX9000 spinal decompression therapy may be a suitable non-surgical option to consider instead of spinal fusion surgery. Be sure to consult with your physician all your options before taking any medical course of action.
